Over the last couple of months, I’ve received emails here and there from readers asking me very similar questions. At first, I answered them each one by one. But then I got smart and decided that I was going to make standardized answers and just point them to this page if they ever asked any one of these questions. And here is that page =).
Here are the top 5 beginner acne questions that I get asked quite often. And of course, my responses to those questions about the How To Clear Your Acne Regimen:
THE TOP 5 BEGINNER ACNE QUESTIONS
1. How long will it take to clear my acne?
This depends from person to person. The reason why is because everyone’s body is different. We all grow at different rates, we all have different combinations of eye color, hair color, height, sizes of hands and feet, etc… That’s why this is always a difficult question for me to answer because people who usually ask this of me usually ask very early in our conversation before I even know anything about them.
It’s kind of like walking into a mechanic’s auto repair shop and saying, “Something’s wrong with my car, how long will it take to fix it?”
It’s difficult for the mechanic to give an approximate time because usually the mechanic needs to do a little bit of inspection or analysis to figure out what’s wrong, where to buy the replacement parts, what kind of labor it’s going to take, if the damage is even repairable, etc…
It’s the same when it comes to curing your acne. This depends on how severe your acne is, what kind of diet your currently eating, are you getting the proper nutrients? Do you care for your body in the proper way? What is your body craving and how long does it take YOUR body to adjust? Do you have the willpower to do what it takes to clear your skin or are you going to get lazy and give up? Are you diligent?
The list goes on but you get the point =).
That being said, it can take as little as a few weeks to start seeing results. I’ve had clients that have contact me back and shown me pictures of their results in 2-3 weeks amazed at the progress that their skin has made. They can’t believe the How To Clear Your Acne regimen worked because nothing else they tried did! They want to thank me for all the help I’ve given them and for the website just being up.
And I’ve had other clients who may have had more stubborn acne or may have had trouble following the regimen, who have also tried many other acne products without success, who see results in a couple months. For me, it took about a couple months before I noticed significant results. This probably had a lot to do with the fact that I was mostly experimenting on myself and didn’t really have this much of an in-depth regimen to follow like this website. But this was the past, this was when my body was just beginning to clear itself up. I believe that I was in a pretty low health condition and it took a lot of work to get to the point I’m at now.
These days, from the time that I start breaking out to the time that I have completely cleared a blemish is a total of only: 10 days. That’s right, less than 2 weeks and I can stop and clear acne dead in its tracks. I know exactly what to do, how to do it, and why it’s being done. But it took a lot of work to get to this point.
In the end, it all depends on YOU.
2. What should I eat?
A lot of people email me want me to make for them a “specific list of things that I should eat?” or they say “Just give me like a layout of what I should eat through the day.”
For these people my reply is that they should eat the Acne Free Diet. Of course, there are other factors such as omega 3’s, kefir, and several other nutrients that need to be added.

5. What do you think about this facial product?
When I first started out trying to deal with my acne. I thought it had a lot to do with how “dirty” my face was. I ended up buying a lot of products such as Murad, ProActiv, and Aloe Vera thinking that dealing with acne from the outside was the solution.
Eventually, I moved on to mediations, antibiotics, and creams thinking that acne was some sort of disease that could be cured.
That didn’t work either.
I finally figured out the solution. Although for a lot of us, acne is a considerable problem, it really isn’t the core issue but more a side effect of the body. Our bodies are trying to tell us that something is wrong on the inside and acne is it’s way of signally to us that something’s not right.
That’s why it’s important to understand that a new facial scrub, a more expensive cleanser, a face wash with [insert special ingredient here] most likely is not going to make the difference between you being ACNE FREE and you having a pimple problem.
It really comes down to clearing and CURING acne from the INSIDE of your body.
When the inside of your body is functioning the way it’s supposed, just about acne facial product or NO facial product AT ALL will work to clear your acne and give you acne free skin. And we do this all through the How To Clear Your Acne Regimen.
So, in my opinion, that new generation of cream with this or that ingredient isn’t going to make a whole lot of difference. It might help a little bit here and there if you have nothing else, but only A LITTLE BIT. If you really want to help your skin and YOUR BODY a lot, give it what it really needs.

The solution to curing your acne is to not focus on improving your health in the commonly accepted way. Now, what I’m NOT saying is to not work out, not eat healthy, and not wash your skin. That is NOT what I’m saying. However, what I am saying is that what we believe now to be “taking care” of our bodies needs to be tweaked a little bit, especially if you have acne. And that “tweak” that you’re looking for is exactly what How To Clear Your Acne is about.
What every acne sufferer must learn, especially the ones that are really fit and health conscious yet still can’t figure out why they still have acne, is that there is a DIFFERENT KIND OF TAKING CARE OF YOUR BODY ROUTINE for us. Our bodies are different than the “average” person who eats whatever they want and just gains weight. Sometimes our bodies, which you’ve probably already noticed, doesn’t even gain weight. Sometimes, when we neglect our bodies, we just end up breaking out instead. And it sucks.
It doesn’t make any sense that we’re eating “right,” working out, getting a good sweat, going to a sauna, washing our face, and then doing a facial mask yet we STILL breakout. WHY?!
So whatever you do, don’t just keep working out and trying to eat “healthy” thinking that something’s going to change and that your acne is suddenly going to start clearing up if you just try harder.
I know this doesn’t work. Because that’s what I used to do. I would just redouble my efforts thinking that I wasn’t trying hard enough. But that’s not the answer and it’s not going to cure your acne.
You need to stop and think. Reformulate a new plan. Really try and understand what’s going on. Figure out the WHY.
It’s questions just like these that I racked my brain for years! I’ve been in your shoes before and it’s hard to really know what works and what doesn’t. It just seems like there are so many acne products out there, it’s hard to really find out with ones are telling the truth and which ones are lying. I’ve bought a lot of them too, Clearasil, Murad, ProActiv, those are just to name a few that I’ve tried. I used to have use a lot of acne products such as aloe vera, benzoyl peroxide, face creams, masks, etc… But these days, I barely even wash my face once a day sometimes, and I’m still clear. I’m proof that clearing your acne the healthy and natural way works. And it’s permanent too, I still have clear skin and I have no problems maintaining acne free, clear skin.
And I finally figured out the perfect routine and way to care for our bodies and our skin if you have acne. The true causes of acne are really dirty blood and an overwhelmed system. And I talk a lot about these two causes in my website and more in detail about how to deal with them in my products.
For anybody reading this article, if you’re serious about clearing your acne for good, the logical next step for you would be to learn about your body. It doesn’t matter if you choose me or someone else, I would highly recommend you to start learning about how to clear your acne from the inside instead of concentrating on the outside. Make sure you know that outside acne treatments are only short term, and that you really want to focus on clearing acne from the inside out.
