4 Foods to Eat for Clear Beautiful Skin

A few days ago, a good friend of mine and I were talking about my website when he suddenly said this…

“Ray, I showed your website to my friends and they said they can’t live off this diet, there’s nothing that they can eat!  No dairy, no bread, no sugar, what is this?!”

So I thought about what he said.

And he may be right.

I’ve talked so much about what you CANNOT eat to maintain beautiful clear skin that I haven’t paid enough attention to what you CAN eat.

But before I do that, I have to explain a kind of a system to you about these foods…

Just like, in life, there isn’t always a black and white, in food it’s the same way.  Sometimes, there’s a gray.

So here are 4 Great Foods for Beautiful Clear Skin

FOOD #1. Blueberries

These are better than other berries for these 2 simple reasons: low sugar and high antioxidants. You want blueberries because they won’t aggravate your acne and at the same time will help you fight inflammation and aging.

What to do

Buy some fresh blueberries and eat a handful EVERY OTHER day. Not every day. But every OTHER day and only 45 minutes after a meal. Or, you can eat them on an empty stomach, but make sure you wash them correctly, they’re often covered in chemicals if they’re not organic … or sometimes even if they claim to be “organic.”

FOOD #2. GREENS

I wrote down “greens” in general here because most of the time when you’re eating green, you’re eating alkaline and that’s great. The problem with most acne sufferers, if you look at what we’re eating is that our bodies are extremely acidic.

Acidic bodies translate into a high chance of inflammation which means whiteheads! Or … pimples.

What to do

So I want you to go out and buy some of those premixed organic greens and eat that with as many meals as you can. It’s really going to change up “what goes on for you in the bathroom.” Get used to having greens like having carbs.

Most people I talk to aren’t eating enough vegetables in their diet. Raw, alkaline, fresh vegetables should be about 70% of your diet. If they were and you were doing this already, chances are you probably wouldn’t have acne. But that’s also only part of the equation.

None the less, it’s a big part so get on it!

FOOD #3. KEFIR

This is like yogurt but better in that it actually helps to create a stable environment for friendly flora to implant into your stomach. In that, it’s actually one step better than regular yogurt. You want to make sure you get the plain flavored and if possible, the kind made from goat’s milk because there’s less casein in it.

This is the magical food here, this food alone mixed with the right ingredient and you’ll see clearer skin in weeks. But if you want that secret, you’re going to have to check out my program the Acne Free Diet.

What to do

Go out and get some kefir from your nearest health food store or grocery store. Here’s the order of the best kind of kefir, or yogurt, you can get:

1. Goat’s made unpasteurized kefir
2. Goat’s made pasteurized kefir
3. Cow’s made unpasteurized kefir
4. Cow’s made pasteurized kefir
5. Cow’s made flavored kefir
6. Other yogurt

FOOD #4. ALKALINE WATER

Okay, I still don’t know if this one’s real but some people are swearing by it. So I’m going to stick this one on here and cross my fingers because if it does indeed do what it claims, then this is a great tool in fighting acne. Heck, it would be a great tool in fighting diseases of many kinds.

The reason why this works is because alkalinity is a major problem in any who has acne. What I usually recommend for my clients is that 70% of their diet be alkaline if they’re suffering from acne. So if you can take your regular, everyday and turn it into a acne fighting machine, that would be awesome because you’re going to be drinking water anyway.

What to do

If you have the money because these alkaline water machines can be kind of expensive, buy one and use it everyday. And let me know your results.
