Having Acne is Your Fault, or is it?

Here's all my money, can I have some more lies?

Today’s Acne Sufferer, “Here’s all my money, can I have some more lies?”

For the longest time, when I had acne, I thought it was my fault.

To be honest, really, all sorts of things went through my head:

“Is it just because of puberty?”

“Is it because I didn’t wash my face well enough?”

“Maybe it’s the face wash I’m using.  Maybe I should get a new one…”

A week later…

“Okay, I got a new face wash.  I’m still breaking out.  What the heck.  It’s probably THIS face wash!  I should get a new one.” (sound familiar?)

“… Or crap … I know.  I must’ve have done something bad in my past life.”

Seriously, I really did think that last one.  I think I was beginning to lose my mind.  I was coming up with all sorts of things to rationalize why I had acne because the problem was: I just couldn’t figure it out.

I thought it was my fault.  I thought that acne was my fault.  The breaking out was my fault.  The pimples were my fault.  The waking up in the morning and staring in the bathroom mirror, dreading having to leave the house and see people, that was my fault.

But it wasn’t.  I had been tricked into believing that all those dermatologists, pills, antibiotics, creams, face washes, 5% benzoyl peroxide, 10% benzoyl peroxide, ProActiv, you name it, I believed in it.

There were so many times when I was at my bathroom sink thinking, “This is it.  With this [insert whatever new thing I was trying], I’m finally going to be clear.”  And I really believed it, and I imagined myself finally with clear skin.

Sometimes I would cover my cheeks just so I could imagine my clear skin a little better, lol.

Eventually, I would have to remove those hands from my cheeks though, because that’s just weird.

But that’s the sad thing in today’s world.  We’ve been tricked.  Having acne is not our fault.  Well… to a certain degree.  We’ve been tricked into believing that these short term solutions can cure our acne.

But if you’re like me and have TRIED all those products, dermatologist visits, and even laser surgeries, you know that they don’t work.

So really, if we ask the question is acne our fault or not.  The answer is:

No, it isn’t AND yes, it is.

No, acne is not our fault because company’s WANT us to believe that their face wash will cure us.  Proactiv WANTS to believe that it can help us clear our acne.  This way we’ll buy their products forever for (at the time of writing this) $19.95 a month for the rest of our lives.  Proactiv doesn’t want us to have clear skin!  Because then we won’t buy their products anymore and they’ll go out of business.

Yes, acne is our fault because … well … we bought into it.  If you complained to your friends that you bought a lemon car at a sleazy dealership that didn’t work after you drove it off the lot what would your friend say?

Well … if you’re asking a woman she might say, “Aww… you poor baby, I can’t believe that salesperson tricked you!”

But if you’re asking your guy friend, he might say, “Dude, that sucks.  But you’re the dummy for falling for it.  My car’s fine.”  And then they might proceed to make fun of you (if this hits too close to home for some of you, I’m sorry.)

And that’s the truth, while it’s not our faults because the ACNE WORLD is covered in this blanket of trickery where your acne will never be cured by using their products, it’s up to us to uncover the truth and finally cure our acne when we realize, “I’ve tried like 10 things and this stuff just doesn’t work!”

SOLUTION

However, here’s the funny thing, you’ve found this website, you’ve found me.  Now’s where you can take control of clearing your own skin.  Now is the time we can say that it’s our fault.

And there’s a beauty to that.  Because when you can say that it’s your fault, that’s when you CAN do what you need to clear your acne.  You don’t have to rely on those skin products (which are a big waste of money) to have beautiful skin.

Do it like I did it, through my diet … without the side effects.

Do it WITHOUT the Accutane and the extra bone growth, suicidal tendencies, and possible blindness.

Yikes.

Start by cutting out the processed foods, refined sugars, and MSG.

Give your body the right nutrients it needs to clear your acne.

I’m warning you though, this is no magic pill.  It’s about holistic health with the added bonus of clear skin.  Not only that, when you clear your acne, you should also have healthier hair, stronger nails, brighter eyes, more energy, etc …

Because that’s what I teach, curing acne through health.  And that’s the beauty of it.

Educate yourself, just like I did. Let’s start with Pimple Truth, my 100% FREE introductory course on the truth about why we really get breakouts, have acne and how to get clear skin.
